FO Sensitizer Solution Formula Calculator

For the entries on the left, this will calculate and display on the right the sensitizer solution formula.
Additives are based on the Clearing Study.

NOTE: Getting the best optimized formula is a mater of getting enough active metal compounds in the coating.
This involves the technique, tools, materials, processing and ambient conditions.
Studies have demonstrated that a 25% FO sensitizer solution with companion metal solutions achieves an optimum threshold.
The amounts to weigh out of the FO powder are adjusted in this calculator as determined by the FO powder studies.
Select the sensitizer powder to be used

To make a  % FO sensitizer solution,
<enter the % FO concentration desired
                 (25% recommended)

weigh out the following material:
< enter % concentration of Oxalic Acid
                 (2% to 5% recommended)
(impuities in FO assumed to be Oxalic Acid)

<enter % concentration of EDTA
                 (CAS: 60-00-4) (0.04% recommended)

or
g  (if impurities are Oxalic Acid)
<enter the volume to make (ml)
add H2O to make ml
